Window Lighting

 

I used our sliding glass door as the backdrop for these pictures and metered for the babies faces.  In other words I set my camera to expose for their faces instead of the window.  That basically caused the window to “blow out” of the picture.  I love the way it helps to bring out their cute little faces!!!

Baby Ivy

Here are the pictures of our little girl Ivy!!!  Just can’t help but kiss those cute little cheeks!!!

She definitely has plenty of hair.  I can get it to curl but naturally it lays pretty straight.

Cheese!!! Caught somewhat of a smile in this one.

This one is my favorite.  I’m still surprised she went back to sleep after positioning her in the old pickle jar I got from my grandmother.

Didn’t get any great photos of her little toes but this one was so cute with her little bum in there too!

Ramsay Family

I had the opportunity of taking pictures of the Ramsay Family.  I’ve known Brady for a long time as we both grew up in the same small town in the middle of nowhere!!!  It was great to get this opportunity to know his family a little better.  Here are a few of the pictures I took:

This little cutie was quite the poser.  She was always ready with her “Princess Smile”!

We were trying to do the picture of the two kids in front with mom and dad blurred out in the background, but this little guy just wanted to run around and play.  I think it made for a great picture anyways!!!

This dog came to play during our photo shoot!!!

Baby Heber

How quickly we tend to forget how tiny little newborns are, or is it just me.  I just did a photo shoot of this little guy.  He was not as sleepy as we would’ve liked him to be but we still were able to get some great shots!! Here are a few of my favorites:   This picture shows why it’s so much easier to get photos of newborns when they are sleeping, LOL!!!

Heber started smiling while he had his binky in his mouth and so we quickly removed it and were able to get a couple of great pictures of him smiling!

The littlest member of this family sure knew how to take the stage.  What a cutie he was and so easy to get him to smile!!!  So many fun pictures; here’s just a few!

I had a great time photographing these cuties.  The littlest one was the easiest to get to smile for the camera, but the hardest to keep in one spot!!!
