This little guy/gal was introduced to us by some of our friends last night and since I wasn’t quite tall enough to look in and see more than just the little beak I went back today with camera and step stool in hand.

I had the opportunity to participate in a Photo Walk sponsored by I Heart Faces. There was a group of about 50 photographers and we went on a walk through the Sugar House area in Salt Lake City, taking photos and sharing tips and insights. It was so fun to get to converse with other photographers and learn from their experience. Here are some of the portrait and snapshot photos I took:

It’s been a while, but I’m still here!!! I just finished a photography class by Brooke Snow and was able to learn a few new tips to help me adjust my camera more quickly. I also just attended a photography event called a Photo Walk in Salt Lake City. It was awesome to get to meet and converse with other photographers. I’ll be posting pictures from that event soon!
