IHF Chalk Photo Challenge

When I saw that this weeks challenge on I Heart Faces was with chalk I couldn’t resist capturing some photos of the kids having fun with chalk!!!

Ramsay Family

I had the opportunity of taking pictures of the Ramsay Family.  I’ve known Brady for a long time as we both grew up in the same small town in the middle of nowhere!!!  It was great to get this opportunity to know his family a little better.  Here are a few of the pictures I took:

This little cutie was quite the poser.  She was always ready with her “Princess Smile”!

We were trying to do the picture of the two kids in front with mom and dad blurred out in the background, but this little guy just wanted to run around and play.  I think it made for a great picture anyways!!!

The littlest member of this family sure knew how to take the stage.  What a cutie he was and so easy to get him to smile!!!  So many fun pictures; here’s just a few!

I had a hard time choosing my favorites to show here.  I learned a few new things that I need to look out for like glare on glasses.  Apparently glare doesn’t just occur from a flash but can also occur when you are in the shade.  I had so much fun and their little boy has such a cute sweet personality.  I love the very last picture where he is having his mom smell the flowers, priceless!!!

IHF Photo Walk Salt Lake City

I had the opportunity to participate in a Photo Walk sponsored by I Heart Faces.  There was a group of about 50 photographers and we went on a walk through the Sugar House area in Salt Lake City, taking photos and sharing tips and insights.  It was so fun to get to converse with other photographers and learn from their experience.  Here are some of the portrait and snapshot photos I took:

It’s been a while, but I’m still here!!!  I just finished a photography class by Brooke Snow and was able to learn a few new tips to help me adjust my camera more quickly.  I also just attended a photography event called a Photo Walk in Salt Lake City.  It was awesome to get to meet and converse with other photographers.  I’ll be posting pictures from that event soon!
