Session FAQs

I am an on-location natural light photographer for Southern Utah.  I feel that the outdoor backdrops add a lot more dimension and specialty to your photographs verses a studio setting.  We can do the sessions at any location of your choice.

What is On-location photography?
If you are used to doing studio portrait sessions this will be a new and exciting experience.
This type of photography focuses on capturing your experiences in the moment with very little
emphasis on having you pose for the picture.
We let you be yourself and do what you want as a family.
From dancing in the field to climbing in a tree, we'll work with what you think is fun.
Whether you are a single individual or a family, we strive to capture what brings that light
      into your life.
We will strive to get a variety of group and/or individual portraits for you.
Families are about love and having fun, so don't worry if we can't get everyone looking at the
camera all at the same time.
On-location photography is about capturing memories that can be cherished for generations.

What do we wear?
Please do not come wearing t-shirts that have graphics or sayings on them.
But please feel free to wear patterned or plain t-shirts.
From blue jeans to a shirt and tie, all is welcome.
Matching is okay but not necessary for group photos.
Shoes or no shoes it's your choice.

What to bring?
You can bring any accessories you would like (a favorite toy, hats, bows, scarfs, etc).
Sometimes bringing some snacks will help if you have young babies and/or toddlers.

If you have any special requests or accommodations, please feel free to e-mail me before your session so we can make this the best experience we can.
